Olive & Bean is located in the heart of Newcastle next to Eldon square. This fabulous Café offers an excellent range of GF food. This includes breakfast and lunch. My personal fave is the eggy bread with Nutella and strawberries. The staff are kind and happy to answer questions. They do have GF cake but as they are stored in open containers with the gluten cakes, I personally steer clear. 

Pizza Punks is a chain and several other venues accross the UK. They offer GF pizza via either create your own or one of thier fabulous creations. My personal favourite the roast potato and mushroom pizza with a white sauce, sound strange but absolutely delish!

The Biscuit Factory is an independent art gallery offering a free art exhibition, rooftop café and giftshop. They offer GF options with their menu and are extra cautious with allergies. They also offer a good selection of hot drinks along with the amazing view. This café is child friendly and has accessible access. 

The tavern is just off the city centre a 5 minute walk from the O2 Academy. They have a full range of GF food from fish and chips to other classic pub grub dishes. They also have a fabulous selection of alcoholic drinks and a warm and inviting atmosphere. 

Social Bird are a GF fried chicken. They offer a range of dishes including a GF Sunday roast.  They have cool and modern vibe and also offer cocktails. A perfect location on a quiet street oppasite the train station. 

This small business owner bakery are the best in Newcastle. They offer a bit of everything, from sausage rolls to cheesecake, doughnuts to bread and croissants. They are a must go at least once for all GF people! Lily Tree also attend a variety of farmers markets so keep an eye out for them at one near you!

Lola jean offer many GF options, from halloumi fries to urgers and more. They also offer an unreal range of cocktails and mocktails. The venue is gorgeous summery and pink! Definitely a great shout when in Newcastle.
